Formally a paint shop, this latest job entailed removing various layers of paint and levelling repairs. Our task was to remove the paint and remove the high spots, using our diamond grinding equipment.
Diamond grinding uses equipment and abrasive tooling to wear down or remove concrete toppings, coverings etc on concrete surfaces. This process is very common when refurbishing floors in commercial and industrial buildings.
This was a relatively small area (150m2) but given the nature of the floor's final purpose as a dance floor, its imperative that the preparation and steps taken provide an acceptable level for the levelling compound and covering.
